Quote: "All people have their blind side, and heard her declare, under the rose, that hearts were her favourite suite." George Lamb (1775-1834). 1998 Linoprint. 25cmW x 28cmH. $125
This is a bit of a rant. Let's just say I was having trouble with one of my little blossoms after the divorce. All good now. Good then, you know, spirited and gutsy. Had to admire that...
1998 Drawing with pencil & conte. 30cmH x 27cmW. $175
Pencil and Pastel on (archive) brown paper. It's not the best photo, I'm sorry, but I'll take a better one very soon. Currently this picture is at Linden Gallery, St. Kilda. $135 SOLD!
I went today to pick this and another drawing up from Linden Gallery, to find that this was sold! Surprise surprise! I hope I have time to develop the idea later this year, although there are so many stitching things I must do.... I need more me's.
Hate to say it but this annoys me! Sorry whoever bought it. It should have been a start, not a finish... but then all of this work is just that. What can I say?
I'm a reasonable human being I think. Friendly type, you know. Happy in myself. Clever and a little bit stupid too, depends where you look (hope I got it round the right way and it's not 'I'm quite stupid and a little bit clever??' That'd be awful). I like the other humans and want you (especially you) to be my friend. Please?
